What if I don’t have a plan?
A short while ago, we talked about the virtues of planning. But what if (heaven forbid) you don’t have a plan? Or (heaven forbid) don’t want a plan! Well, that’s fine too …
Don’t feel bad. You can still be the ambitious, focused and determined you that you always were. Just in this moment, you’re doing it all sans-plan.
Nowhere is it written you must have a plan. We just sometimes slip into that belief; or other times use it to stay in place.
Without a plan …
You can still make mindful decisions and take inspired action. You can still bring a powerful contribution and create a meaningful change. You can still offer insight and deliver astonishingly good service. And you can still advance your project.
So, please don’t feel like you must have a grandiose vision articulated as a perfectly choreographed plan, if that’s not your thing, right now. Instead, simply stay focused on serving people today, by excelling in what you’re doing, now.
(It’ll be a lot easier, without the burden of those pesky plans!)
