The flaw is in the methodology.
The major dysfunctions and common challenges of teams are “managed out” by skilled facilitators, allowing traditional curriculums to be delivered, unencumbered.
The away-day is reported to be a success. The feedback is positive. But … remove the facilitator, and the team’s processes break down, again … and again.
