A thought to start the week: “from problems to projects”.

From Problems to Projects

Hands up who’s got a problem.

We’ve all got something not quite right or not quite working. And if we haven’t, we don’t suppose it will be too long before we do.

Want a great course of action when faced with a problem? Turn it into a project by asking: “given this problem, what shall I create?”

Making projects of problems introduces so much creativity, that problems themselves become useful. They come to signify opportunities for invention. They become motivating and energising. We start to crave problems because we know solutions come alive in a world of problems, challenges and obstacles.

So never again fear a problem. Instead: make it a project. Ask: “given this problem, what shall I now create?”
